This exhibition by our much-loved and fêted local artist María Aranguren is one of those windows open to our perception, interpretation and sensitivity. A collection of generous works which, with restraint and compositional rigor, cultivate sensitivity and invite us to reflect on the subject. What does she feel, what is she saying? Without realizing it, we are drawn into her game and find ourselves before a showcase of emotions that perhaps also reflect something of ourselves. What do we feel, what do we perceive?

«Al hilo de… Lenguajes de la fotografía» is a very socially relevant exhibition in which five simultaneous showings interweave different discourses, featuring photographs as witnesses of different customs, lifestyles and environments which manifest values and beliefs in the form of images through which their authors aim to reflect, declaim, mobilize, and raise everyone’s awareness.

Retrospective exhibition that occupies the different rooms of the center to show the great variety of stages and travels of the artist during the 80s and 90s.
José Morea (Chiva, 1951) is one of the most relevant artists on the Valencian creative scene, a key figure in the renewal of pictorial language in the last third of the last century. The exhibition can be visited until next May 27.

During long walks by the sea, Pepe Gimeno collects various materials, such as plastics, wires, wood, algae; elements necessary to elaborate the alphabet with which to write their plastic messages. Use those elements as a translation. It speaks to us of sensitivity, awareness, responsibility, humanity.

The Valencian artist and professor of Fine Arts Toni Cucala inaugurates the E CA with an exhibition that under the name of “Vigilias” gives a thought on the symbolic power of forms and and questions the pictorial supports and the limits of painting.
