Time produces painting – painting produces time

Time produces paint – paint produces time

Through artistic languages such as painting, collage or film, images emerge in the work of Álex Marco (Valencia, 1986). Taking into account both the construction and the discovery, each of the images that make up his work do not pre-exist the known world. However, once they have been produced, they establish structures of continuity between form, gesture and world. In their ways of doing, analogical instruments and processes capable of generating moving images come together. His style is abstract, fragmentary and gestural. Both when he superimposes wallpapers and when he discovers pictorial elements in kinetic space, he brings together constellations of fragments. Time produces painting – painting produces time is an act of vision that reflects one mode, among others, of image production.
